SCA News & Events: And the Award Goes To...

Find me on:

On Saturday, December 6th, Southwest Consulting Associates (SCA) hosted its annual holiday party for employees, spouses and guests.

In 2013, SCA instituted an award for employees who embody the company at its very best by exhibiting exceptional commitment and achievements that stand out amongst their peers.  The award was named the David P. Pfeil Quality & Commitment Pinnacle Award in honor of the man who founded SCA on the principles of trust and integrity.  Mr. Pfeil felt very strongly about commitment to our clients and ourselves and also about providing high quality, compliant services in a timely and thorough manner.  He continually emphasized quality over quantity. This award recognizes those employees who not only excelled in their job each day, but did so in a manner that demonstrated the highest level of commitment to SCA, their co-workers, our clients and with the highest quality.

Once again, we would like to congratulate the inaugural winners, Heather Pantalion and Kim Wellmann, who in 2014, continued to demonstrate the excellent performance and commitment that was recognized in 2013.  Nominated by their peers, the 2014 David P. Pfeil Quality & Commitment Pinnacle Award was presented to Gail Senter and Bill Mahrer.  Both have made tremendous contributions during their tenures at SCA.

In presenting the award to Gail, her courteous and professional demeanor, willingness to help all and handling all responsibilities with a smile was highlighted.  Gail was described as not only trustworthy but thoughtful, hard-working and well respected.  Simply put, Gail is SCA.

Bill was described by a fellow peer as, “nothing but helpful on questions that I have and will even put down what he’s working on to help find something out for me.  While he is most likely very busy with his own work, he never gives me excuses as to why he can’t do something that is asked.” This year, Bill has been involved in more aspects of SCA’s commitments to its clients than almost any other employee in the company including invoicing and appeals, reviews, audits, protocols, job production, state research as well as countless other tasks.

Please join us in congratulating Gail and Bill on their achievements in demonstrating the spirit of quality and commitment that the David P. Pfeil Award embodies.
